20年來首例，造價千萬斷層掃描儀救病犬！台灣動物緊急救援小組上週在高雄市林園區一處荒地旁，搶救一隻爆瘦、走路不穩的流浪小黑狗，經送醫檢查發現，小黑狗除爆瘦不到10公斤外，還感染嚴重皮膚病，膝蓋也有粉碎性骨折，且不時搖頭晃腦，出現腦膜炎等症狀，病況相當複雜且嚴重。

緊急救援小組醫療團隊為做出更精密診斷，決動用民間唯一、造價1080萬台幣、由日本原裝進口的「動物專用四切電腦斷層儀」，希望透過影像學檢查，找出小黑狗的病因，以正確診斷對症下藥。

該台動物用電腦斷層儀，造價千萬，去年才進口到台灣，拍攝一次的費用（不計麻醉費）約12000元，全身拍攝的時間約40分鐘；台灣動物緊急救援小組發言人倪京台說，動物用電腦斷層儀與人用的斷層掃描機除了構造不同之外，施打的顯影劑也有差異，必需由專業技師操控。這該救援小組成立20年來，首次動用價值千萬元的醫療儀器。(戴安瑋／台北報導)
