【於慶中／綜合外電報導】蝗蟲、竹節蟲，還有肥美的蛆，敢吃下肚嗎？中國湖北省武漢華中農業大學，昨天(1日)舉行了一場難得一見的昆蟲宴，用竹蛹、蜂蛹、無菌蠅蛆、蝗蟲、竹節蟲當做食材，再輔以雞蛋、白菜、孜然等，煎炒煮炸做成多道料理。300多學生前來嚐鮮，25公斤昆蟲被一掃而光。看來吃蟲並沒有想像中恐怖。

這場重口味的昆蟲宴，昨天上午11時在華農大的桃園食堂外舉行，該校植物科學技術學院數十名學生擔任廚師。其中一道名為「八方會客」的菜餚，以蜂蛹和蝗蟲為主料，添加少量香油、醬油、辣椒爆炒。另一道「黃金餃」，則以蜂蛹、雞蛋、白菜、香菇為餡包餃子，成為最受歡迎的菜色之一。不過最讓學生望而卻步的是一道名為「金色浪漫」的菜式，食材是肥蛆和黃瓜、小蕃茄、葡萄乾、肉鬆一起炒成。負責的學生陳媛媛坦言有點失望：「這道菜賣相不錯，營養價值高，無奈很多人過不了心理那關。」 對於這場昆蟲宴，有人吃得很開心，有人難以下筷。來自雲南的女學生說，在她的家鄉吃昆蟲並不少見，也有學生認為蛆蟲比蝦還香。主辦單位表示，活動目的是教育學生正確地認識昆蟲、利用昆蟲，保護生態平衡。許多昆蟲蛋白質含量高，適合食用，具有潛在經濟價值。
