8千公尺深海動態影像 首度曝光
〔編譯林翠儀／綜合報導〕為證明日本手工業技術具有世界頂級水準，東京下町社區小工廠的技工師傅們，花4年時間打造一具名為「江戶子1號」的深海探測器，挑戰日本海溝深約8000公尺的海底探測，成功地拍回深海動態影像，並帶回蝦子等深海生物，創下全球首例。

這項社區工廠打造深海探測器的計畫，是由葛飾區經營橡膠加工廠的杉野行雄發起。他表示，自己的工廠生產品質極佳的橡膠，擁有世界頂級技術，但長年來只能做轉包工作，為展現社區工廠實力，決定挑戰這項不一樣的任務。

探測器配備3D鏡頭

江戶子1號是由3顆直徑約30公分的球體組合而成，搭載3D攝影鏡頭、LED照明燈及誘使海洋生物靠近的釣餌裝置，前後共試作3具，最後一具在24日成功返航。這具江戶子1號的下水處位於房總半島近海200公里處，水深約7800公尺深海。

調查組成員笑容滿面地表示，以往曾拍攝到靜止畫面，但能拍到8000公尺深海的動態影像，在全世界尚屬首次。參與的社區工廠師傅十分開心，下次計畫挑戰世界最深的馬里亞納海溝。
