醫事人員五年間增4.4萬人

由於壓力大、工作累，國內醫界近年來出現內、外、婦產、兒、急診醫師人力「五大皆空」的現象。然而，依據衛生福利部統計，2012年底執業醫事人員數為25.8萬人，較2007年底增加4.4萬人，各類執業醫事人員數均呈現逐年增加趨勢。

執業醫事人員包含醫師、牙醫師、藥師及藥劑生，護理師及護士。在2012年底時，國內平均每一萬人人口有20.0位醫師、有5.3位牙醫師、13.7位藥師及藥劑生，以及59.0位護理師及護士。平均起來每位醫師服務的人口數為500人，比2007年時減少64人。

其次，去年底全國醫療機構達2萬1437家，較2007年底增加1537家，其中診所為2萬935家，增加1565家；醫院為502家，減少28家。

至於病床數方面，2012年底醫療院所床數總計為16萬900床，較2007年底增加6.8％，其中以診所病床數增幅37.4％最大。換算起來，每萬人人口病床數為69床，較2007年時增加3.4床。

台灣平均每人每年看病15.12次， 西醫診所1萬幾百家， 中醫診所3千多家，牙醫診所6千多家，
但問題是在總額這制度，
西醫診所的問題應該是生意搶太兇讓點值下降，診療費隨看診人數等比級數遞減，
結果就是損人又不利己，
如果合理門診天數每月減到22天可改善點值也可以減少健保負擔

大家都少看3天, 多數診所月門診量應該會減少,
點值回升換算為錢收入可能差不多,
但大家不就多了3天陪家人時間, 這是另類周休二日, 生活品質不也會好很多, 壽命還會增加,
不然殺紅眼有人乾脆每星期看7天, 最後錢沒多多少, 卻犧牲了生活, 家人及健康
