昨參加遊行的李醫師是北部某醫學中心婦產科的住院醫師，只要輪值夜班就連續33小時不能睡覺，長期超時工作讓他的健康亮紅燈，前不久才因肺炎住院，曾一個晚上接生6個寶寶的他說：「因為太累，我已沒有迎接新生命的喜悅。」

過勞衍生醫療糾紛
李醫師是第三年住院醫師，他指每天工作近12小時，不少學長完成4年住院醫師訓練後，都累到免疫力變差、注意力不集中，工作太累易影響病人安全，與他同期受訓的7名醫師，有2人因醫療糾紛吃官司。
他說，住院醫師每月輪值3到4次夜班，最多曾一人照顧近百床病人，半夜還要到急診支援。他碰過一名不願相信自己子宮外孕婦人，跑3、4家醫院診斷都不滿意，最後讓他診斷還是子宮外孕，婦人竟嗆：「年輕醫師會不會看病？」讓他身心俱疲。
儘管住院醫師很累，但李醫師強調，升主治醫師後仍會留在醫學中心，畢竟當初就是嚮往救人才念醫學系，但期盼政府能訂定合理工時，減少醫師過勞衍生的醫療疏失，讓醫生們找到行醫熱情。記者蔡明樺
