捨醫學院念財經，一舉奪高考探花

新北市政府經發局科員蘇莉雯讀大學時「捨醫從經」。
去年台大畢業時同時取得經濟系、法律系雙學士，沒參加補習就投入高考商業行政類科，以第三高分分發新北市服務。
廿四歲的蘇莉雯出生公教家庭，她說，從小就對公共議題很有興趣，一直夢想能當央行總裁或財經首長，在公部門制訂、執行福國利民的政策。

但因家族成員有多位醫學系學生，蘇莉雯雄女畢業後，在家人期許下考上成大醫學院；才讀兩個月，就因割捨不下「財經夢」，與家人抗爭後休學在家自習。隔年考進台大經濟系，在校又對法律產生興趣，四年取得經濟系、法律系雙學位。

蘇莉雯說，醫學系是許多第三類組學生的夢想，但「努力追求自己的興趣並勇往直前，才是追求快樂人生的途徑。」自成大休學時，長輩親友強力反對，她天天以淚洗面，但仍咬緊牙根，朝自己的目標邁進。

她說，對讀書方法，她建議平時多著墨各領域學問，對特別有興趣者要多涉獵。
