雲端平台供應商Akamai發布全球網路現況報告，南韓蟬連全球平均連網速度最快國家的寶座，台灣排名第46。

Akamai全球網路現況報告指出，全球平均連網速率方面，第2季比上1季成長13%，全球平均連網速率來到3Mbp(百萬位元/秒)。

其中，南韓蟬連全球平均連網速度最快國家的寶座，以14.2Mbps遙遙領先其他國家，日本以10.7Mbps位居第2，香港以8.9Mbps排名第3。

南韓不僅平均連網速度領先，超過10Mbps的高寬頻採用比率也將近50%，遠遠高過日本、香港。第4名為拉脫維亞8.7Mbps，瑞士以8.4Mbsp位居第五，美國以6.6Mbps位居第九，新加坡以5.1Mbps排第25，台灣以3.7Mbps排第46，中國以1.5Mbps排名第97。

第2季全球攻擊流量來源中，約有38%來自亞太地區，36%來自歐洲，北美和南美有23%。前三大攻擊來源國為中國大陸、美國及土耳其，台灣位居第5。

此外，行動網路部分約 7成連線來自Android、Safari，呼應兩大行動平台在智慧型手機市場的主導地位。

根據Akamai在6月的資料顯示，第2季全球連網速率成長至3Mbps，約38%行動網路連線請求來自Android，有33%來自Safari，兩大行動平台瀏覽器合計占比達到71%，其他行動瀏覽器如Opera mini占23%、BlackBerry占4%。

這項報告是利用Akamai在全球部署的網路平台，蒐集網路流量進行分析，蒐集約242個國家、超過6.65億IP位址的流量資料，除了分析有線網路之外，還研究全球行動網路發展。
