吊車司機陳信男去年底在基隆巿一處新建社區工地操作吊車不慎，吊車滑落地下室工地，砸死兩名工程師。由於業主賠償死者家屬各2500萬元，獲得和解，司機也坦承疏失，基隆地檢署昨天偵結，予吊車司機緩起訴處分。

一名資深土木工程師聽到每人獲賠2500萬元，脫口直呼「天價」。他說，工地一定有投保工程意外險，一般，死亡理賠每人只有300萬到500萬元，沒聽過賠2500萬元的。

基隆地檢署主任檢察官周啟勇表示，工安意外，較多以300萬到500萬元達成和解，但也有死者家屬不願意，或包商賠不出來而訴諸法律的。和解金高達2500萬元，可能業主的經濟條件比較好，這種高價賠償，並不多見。
