楠西鄉梅嶺風景區裡有處神秘氣場，站在定點講話有擴音效果，身體甚至會不自覺地搖晃，莫名的能量令人稱奇，農曆鬼月最後一天，吸引很多遊客夜探，來趟刺激的靈異之旅。

神秘氣場位於梅嶺右線風景區裡，從虛谷生態復育公園往上約百米處，是近2年來最新被發掘的觀光據點，以連鎖磚鋪設出一處平台，30坪左右，四周有植栽，乍看之下，常誤認為平凡無奇的休憩綠地，其實暗藏玄機。

梅嶺休閒農業區導覽志工呂錦銘表示，平台內有5個體驗定點，據他帶團的觀察，一般民眾站上去後，講話變調，呈擴音現象，有的則會發熱、打嗝，以及前後左右不自覺地搖擺，甚至還無意識地起乩，尤以在中心處感受最強烈，相當神奇。

呂錦銘說，氣場的能量來自何方未被科學探究過，且並非任何地方都能獲得體驗，而是在5個定點上，同一個平面卻有特別的能量分佈，空間感很難解釋，只好以玄學角度去解釋。-摘自自由時報 2010-09-08 06:01
