放棄當醫生，因為得了子宮頸癌？

看了日前〈都是名牌惹的禍〉，不禁嘆了一口氣。現在的小孩在物質上大都不缺乏，但心靈上卻越來越寂寞。

此文讓我想起大我十四歲，卻在十年前因癌症過世的大姊。

大姊畢業於人人稱羨的醫學系，但卻放棄當醫生，因為她得了以目前的醫療技術還無法根治的子宮頸癌。 她常感嘆說：「連自己都無法醫好，別人還會相信我的技術嗎？」因此她畢業後，就回到我們在台中的老家，幫母親的服飾店打點事情。

女兒回老家陪她，母親固然很高興，卻不禁為大姊的未來擔心起來。我和二姊曾問過大姊：「花了多年時間學會的技術，不用不是很可惜嗎？」大姊卻說：「學習只是為了證明自己的實力，和有沒有去深入那個行業沒有關係。」她又說：「我現在這樣也很好啊！不用花大錢買名牌，媽媽做的包包樣式還更好看。現在我可以把錢存起來，以後留給媽媽。」二姊和我聽了都很感動。大姊把買名牌東西的錢存起來，等我們回台中看母親的時候就請我們吃飯。有時候陪母親逛街，母親看到喜歡的東西，大姊二話不說就買給她，大姊總是搶在我們之前照顧母親。她笑說；「你們在外面工作都有拿錢給媽媽，剩下的讓我來照顧就好。」她的體貼，讓我和二姊非常慚愧。

然而，大姊走了。葬禮那天母親哭得最傷心，因為最照顧她的女兒離她遠去。無論我們怎麼安慰她，母親都無法忘記大姊對她的好，整天坐在桌子前望著大姊的照片嘆氣。

大姊知道自己的壽命不長，因此花了比誰都多的時間孝順母親，希望能在走的時候不留下任何遺憾，她不再奢求任何東西，只求能把握僅剩的時間做自己最想做的事，對她來說，家人是最重要的。大姊的純真、大姊的好，永遠都是我們的榜樣。

這故事就是一整個囧，

這個大姊的性生活是開始得有多早啊？
還是那麼巧，就是原發性的？
更扯的是「連自己都無法醫好，別人還會相信我的技術嗎？」，
得了子宮頸癌，不四處宣揚，病人是會知道喔？
