檢驗3血中蛋白質 抽血驗胃癌有望

未來檢查胃癌，可望不必吞胃鏡，只要驗血中OPN、MMP-9、MMP-2等三種血中蛋白質即可得知！


台中榮總腸胃肝膽科醫師吳俊穎歷經5年的研究，找到三種與胃癌有密切關係的血中蛋白質，研究成果已發表在英國腸胃道期刊、美國臨床癌症研究、歐洲癌症雜誌等世界知名期刊，他預估3年內，檢查胃癌不必吞胃鏡的美夢即可實現。


吳俊穎醫師昨天在中區十大院校與台中榮總合作研究計畫聯合成果發表會上，應邀進行演講時指出，在日本、韓國發現早期胃癌的比率高達6成至7成，但台灣僅一成多的胃癌患者在第一、二期被發現，8成以上的胃癌都是已第三期到第四期才被發現，很多人視吞胃鏡檢查為畏途是原因之一。


5年來他研究發現，胃癌患者血中OPN、MMP-9、MMP-2等三種蛋白質指數會特別偏高，只要抽血檢驗即可得知，不必非靠胃鏡檢查不可。


目前台中榮總正針對胃癌高危險群，包括有胃癌家族史或萎縮性胃炎患者（慢性發炎造成胃黏膜萎縮）、腸化症患者（胃壁黏膜因發炎萎縮被小腸黏膜取代）、幽門螺旋桿菌等四類病患定期進行血液監測。


他指出，腸化症患者發生胃癌的比例，每年增加6％到8％，有患者才兩年沒做胃鏡檢查，發現時已是末期胃癌。有胃癌家族史的人罹患胃癌的比例比同年齡層的族群高2成至4成，一定要定期檢查。


他希望藉由這項抽血即可檢查出胃癌及期別、預後的檢驗方式，讓在台灣每10萬人中即有13至16人罹患的胃癌，也能早發現、早治療。目前此項研究已進入臨床試驗階段。
