· 台南市新營區耳鼻喉科醫師黃鴻志，3名子女高中都就讀新營區私立興國高中，大學都上牙醫系，大女兒就讀中國醫藥大學牙醫系，二女兒高雄醫藥大學牙醫系，兒子今年學測75級分繁星推薦錄取台大牙醫系，他說「幫子女選興國是正確的選擇」。
3名子女都是高材生，二女兒當年大學學測英文作文「家事的分配」，獲選全國10大佳作之一 ，她說，學好英語就是多看英文小說、雜誌與聽英語新聞，不要害怕開口說、多練習。
黃鴻志最近在臉書上PO文說「人生不可逆，唯擇為難」。兒女的教育是如此，選擇學校亦復如是！三個小孩新營國小畢業之後，都陸續進入興國中學接受6年一貫教育！
黃鴻志說，證明抉擇是正確的！決定就讀興國中學。原因有興國興學有成聲譽卓著，成績有目共睹，師資優異教學熱誠，因材施教循循善誘，學風鼎盛人才輩出，昂昂俊秀皎皎出眾。
黃鴻志表示，人身在一境，輒慕他方，總覺得「對岸」的風景殊勝，總是這山望著那山高！子女國中部畢業時，曾動念要讓小孩去讀國立明星高中，當年遽下決心作此抉擇，可能定會後悔。
黃鴻志指出，原因是孩子到台南讀書，家庭勢必分隔兩處，照顧呼應難免顧此失彼，成績再優秀也難以循繁星推薦進入理想大學科系。
「我是興國人」社群網站也貼了黃鴻志的PO文，可說是興國招生的最佳宣傳。
