流行樂天王麥克傑克森因施打俗稱「牛奶針」的麻醉藥丙泊酚致命，近半年台中地檢署先後相驗3名死者，意外發現均因施打「牛奶針」暴斃，主動追查發現竟是診所醫師因投資股票失利，竟狂賣已被列為第四級毒品的「牛奶針」普洛福靜脈注射液(丙泊酚Propofol)，大賺黑心錢，日前指揮警員搜索大里區育德診所並約談林姓醫師到案，訊後依《違反毒品危害防制條例》及過失致死等罪向法院聲押偵辦，但台中地院裁定20萬元交保。

檢方昨指揮市警局、海巡署台中查緝隊、台中市衛生局人員，近40名警力，搜索育德診所，共計查扣每瓶20cc裝的「牛奶針」855瓶，共1萬7700cc、降低副作用的壓凡必拉注射液1cc裝1746瓶、亞烈明注射液1cc裝2418瓶及方便施打的蝴蝶針121支、注射針筒95支及施打名冊、帳冊等物。

檢方指出，去年10月相驗時意外發現死者因施打「牛奶針」突然暴斃，檢方即著手了解藥品來原，今年4月間再發現第3名死者同樣施打「牛奶針」暴斃，半年內已陸續造成3名施打者死亡為避免更多人受害，著手搜索偵辦。

檢方指出，林姓醫師因投資股票損失數千萬元，為加速清償債務，近年來販售「牛奶針」牟利，林男利用具有管制藥品執照之便，向上游藥商大量購買「牛奶針」，再自行搭配降低副作用的藥物、針筒等，1組販售400元，甚至有人1天施打超過20組。

檢方指出「牛奶針」原為醫療用麻醉藥劑，以靜脈注射方式用於局部麻醉，遭不法人士濫用，宣稱可以抑制海洛因藥癮、幫助入眠，吸引正在戒癮中的人口大量購買，去年8月公告為的第四級毒品，根據法務部統計，2010年至2014年全台約有300人因濫用而送命，流行天王麥克傑克森也是施打此藥物而送命。
