肺腺癌沉默殺手 狙擊政、醫名人

國防部長高華柱被證實罹患早期肺癌，所幸開刀順利，預後情況良好，不用接受化療。一名參與評估病情的醫師指出，原先醫療團隊以為他是感染一般肺炎或肺結核，最後經三總、台北榮總以及台大等專科醫師共同會診，才斷定為肺腺癌。

醫師透露，高華柱是一個月前至三軍總醫院接受健康檢查，當時發現左側肺葉的上方出現異狀，原先以為只是肺臟發炎，或是肺結核。

不過，軍方不敢大意，將檢查報告轉送至台北榮總，雙方專家共同會診。為求慎重，醫療團隊還請來台大醫院專精肺癌的醫師一起討論，判讀影像資料。

最後這批國內頂尖肺癌專家認定高華柱應該是早期肺腺癌，建議盡速開刀。在北榮胸腔外科主任許文虎的主刀下，順利切除了腫瘤組織，預後情況良好，不用接受化療，預估下周就能返家休養。

醫師透露，早在一個月前，就建議高華柱應該立即開刀，但他考慮公務，所以推遲手術時間。所幸高華柱的肺腺癌期別屬於1A，算是相當早期，因此即使晚一個月開刀，對於日後恢復沒有太大影響。

據了解，除了高華柱之外，最近半年來，國內醫界、政壇以及財經界中，陸續有不少重量級人士被確診為肺腺癌；其中以一位著名治療癌症的權威專家醫師最讓人覺得意外。

這位癌症權威醫師為某醫學中心腫瘤科主任、國內大老教授級醫師，為國內癌症頂尖專家，在癌症臨床研究及治療上，備受推崇。日前同樣在接受健檢時，意外發現罹患肺腺癌，幸好屬於早期，現已切除腫瘤組織，術後情況良好。不過連癌症權威醫師都難逃肺腺癌陰影，不少癌症專科醫師都很吃驚且連聲歎息。
