府城七夕成年禮 「做十六歲」有看頭

農曆七夕是孩童守護神七娘媽聖誕，府城許多廟宇忙著「做十六歲」，家長帶著小孩前往廟宇祭拜，感謝七娘媽庇佑孩子長大成人，主祀七娘媽的「開隆宮」出現人潮，加上觀看狀元郎騎馬遊街的信眾，將廟埕擠得水洩不通。

台南市許多間做十六歲成年禮的廟宇（關帝殿、開隆宮、安平開台天后宮、臨水夫人媽廟、永華宮、寧濟殿、五條港--看西街教會、神興宮、神興宮、崇福宮、集福宮等）都擠滿前來「轉大人」的青少年朋友，位於中山路的開隆宮前，一早就張燈結綵，人潮從中山路一直延伸到開隆宮前面，販賣金紙、香燭、鮮花的招呼聲不斷，包括還願祈福信眾、孩童、及參觀的人群，擠得水洩不通。

家長帶著家中年滿16歲的孩子到廟裡參拜還願，副市長洪正中專程前往帶領穿狀元服 的16歲禮生，向保佑青少年平安長大成人的「七娘媽」行禮，並獻上花、茶、水果、財帛、胭脂水粉等祭品，這些穿狀元服的十六歲青年，男左女右一一鑽過七娘媽亭，象徵「出鳥母宮」代表長大成人，離開七娘媽的呵護，正式轉大人。

「自己是大人了，自己做決定，就要自己負責」

日本交流協會高雄事務所所長神戶浩道也一同參加開隆宮「做十六歲」，成年禮生打扮成狀元郎，騎馬遊街前往孔廟行禮致意。除了各大廟宇的「做十六歲」，台南市推行「家庭做十六歲」深受好評，「做十六歲成年禮」是由外婆為年滿十六歲的孫子在農曆七月七號當天所做的一項「轉大人」儀式，藉由家庭的力量傳承府城的特有文化，強化城市認同，讓十六歲成年的青少年朋友們，更懂得感恩父母，更加懂事。
