避免靜脈曲張 鞋跟勿逾3公分

穿高跟鞋時，鞋跟最好不要超過3公分，鞋跟也別太細，以免靜脈曲張上身。臺安醫院美容中心執行長暨整形外科主任劉明偉表示，「下肢肌肉是第二個心臟」。鞋跟太高太細的話，腿部肌肉就會被固定住，幾乎無法用力，血管收縮作用也會受到阻礙，血液無法打回上半身，容易形成靜脈曲張。劉明偉主任也提醒，上腿緊繃，下腿寬鬆的喇叭褲，也可能讓腿部血液集中在小腿，無法回流。

劉明偉主任指出，由於社會環境的變遷，現代人的工作呈現兩極化，不是久坐就是久站，常常一個姿勢維持好幾個小時無法休息，這樣工作型態的人時間久了，會造成下肢循環不良，靜脈曲張於是乎就產生了。劉主任認為，腿上明顯浮出的血管除了是愛美女性最頭痛的問題外，更關係到每個人下肢的健康。臨床上，靜脈曲張最主要的好發族群為女性，女性好發率為男性的2-3倍。台灣女性的發生率為20-35％，男性則為10-15％。女性因結締組織較為羸弱，血管長期承受過大的壓力而變粗，靜脈瓣膜無法完整閉合，易造成血液逆流且沉積於下肢。

從事總機工作的樊小姐表示，約莫二十年前發現右腿出現靜脈曲張情形，近10年生過2個孩子，靜脈曲張情形日趨嚴重，最近出現腿部腫脹，時而出現發癢的症狀。而國小教書的張老師，從事教職已經26年，每天教書至少連續站4、5小時，中間僅下課時間能稍稍休息一下。他們都表示因靜脈曲張與腿部變粗的不美觀，已將近10年不敢穿著短褲短裙。劉醫師表示，過去的治療方式主要為風險較大的傳統手術，然而近年來已有許多治療的選擇。
