台版「桃姐」…82歲長工 退休教授當父奉養

描寫主僕情的賣座港片「桃姐」，南投有台版篇。大學退休教授林其昌把八十二歲長工林新添當父親奉養，堅持不送養老院，接回家同住，主僕情深。
林新添是清朝舉人林鳳池的後代，林鳳池當年到福建趕考，帶回卅六株武夷山烏龍茶苗，造就台灣現今凍頂烏龍盛況。林鳳池後來家道中落，第五代的林新添因家貧，五十八年前到林其昌祖父的茶行當製茶工。

當時林新添廿四歲，林其昌六歲，「我總愛跟在後頭黏著『添仔伯』玩。」林新添製茶時，林其昌總繞在身旁，一下打翻茶葉、一下弄亂茶菁，但林新添都不生氣，反而耐心跟他說茶葉的種種。

林其昌說，小時候家裡殺雞加菜，他想搶雞腿吃，母親總是把雞腿夾到林新添的碗裡，「他是艱苦人，不要跟他爭。」母親以身教告訴他，要好好照顧添仔伯。

「他盡忠職守，有家裡每個房間的鑰匙，有他在，我很放心。」林其昌說，父親早逝、母親又有輕微失智，家鄉祖厝大小事都是添仔伯幫忙照料，對他而言，添仔伯就是家中的支柱。
林其昌說，添仔伯陪伴他長大，也是他的製茶導師，添仔伯生病，他比誰都著急，有次添仔伯在家昏倒，他急得從台北趕回南投，「就怕失去另一個爸爸」。

林新添今年八十二歲，已無法工作，林其昌把他當父親奉養，堅持自己照顧，不肯把添仔伯送到養老院。他將添仔伯接到百年古厝同住，燉中藥給添仔伯進補，還買智慧型手機給添仔伯打發時間；日前陪添仔伯到大陸武夷山尋根。

林新添終生未娶，把林其昌的孩子視如己出，有時想念林其昌的孩子，不顧年邁暈車，從南投搭客運到台北，只為了看看乾孫子的生活情形。添仔伯六十大壽時，林其昌子女用零用錢，打了一個金元寶祝壽，添仔伯笑得合不攏嘴。

林新添笑說，林其昌與妻子莊鑾鳳就像自己的兒子與媳婦，只要看他們都在身邊，就覺得好安心。
