可怕的癌症，讓醫學界努力開放新藥。由台大醫院和國外藥廠合作的肺癌疫苗，即將在台灣展開第3期跨國試驗，招收病人參與，如果新藥測結果，能夠強化病人的免疫力，預防肺癌復發，將會是肺癌患者的一大福音。

因為肺癌過世的藝人文英，在前年發現肺癌第三期之後，短短不到一年，就離開人世，前法務部長陳定南和知名舞蹈家羅曼菲，都是死於肺癌，而現在，由台大醫院和國外藥廠合作，研發出新的肺癌疫苗，經過了前期試驗，發現可以強化肺癌患者的免疫力，降低復發的風險，達到25%。

目前進入第三期試驗，用肺癌疫苗合併化療的方式，預計在全球招收2270人參與，台灣也有25個名額，台大宣布，即將展開試驗。這項新的肺癌疫苗，正確名稱是特異性免疫療法，如果第三期試驗成功，未來對於肺癌病患來說，可能是救命的一大福音。 [影音新聞請見：http://news.cts.com.tw/cts/life/201101/ ... 51847.html]
