新竹警方3日追捕一輛贓車，就在警匪追逐時，歹徒駕車正好撞上送兒子去當兵、騎車返家的彭姓婦人，婦人當場送醫不治，兒子得知消息從軍中返回家奔喪，簡直無法相信，分開不到一天，竟是母子天人永隔。

才剛送兒子去當兵，事隔不到一天，母子天人永隔，彭姓婦人的丈夫哭喊，怎麼也無法相信這個事實，3日彭姓婦人騎車載小兒子去當兵，返家途中，正好遇上警匪追逐，歹徒駕駛贓車高速左轉，正好撞上彭姓婦人，造成彭姓婦人重傷送醫不治。

彭家的大兒子、二兒子意外喪生，夫婦倆才決定生下小兒子，好不容易重享天倫樂，沒想到警匪追逐，無妄之災，讓一個家庭破碎，母子離別竟是永別。

家屬強烈質疑，警方執法有疏失，造成無辜死亡，將提出國賠，但就算有再多的賠償，也換不回一個完整的家庭。
