2008年最離奇最不可思議獎，已經在日前頒發，這個獎主要是表彰那些在人類進化中最離奇，最不可思議的人們，
是他們使得我們生活的折磨和壓力不那麼難以忍受。

金牌獎殊榮的是：

JAMES ELLIOT----作為加州長灘市的搶劫犯，當他把點38左輪手槍對準被害人開槍時， 槍卡彈了(子彈沒有擊發)，此時他做了非常有建設性的舉動

---- 把眼睛對準槍口仔細瞄了一眼，同時扣下了扳機
---- 這次槍沒有卡彈。


銀牌獎的得主：

由於在一個非法酒吧停車喝酒，司機發現自己巴士上的20名 精神病患者全部逃跑了，
而他應該把他們送到BULAWAYO的精神病院的。
由於害怕他的粗心大意被批評，這個司機把車開到了附近的一個公共汽車站，允諾乘
客可以免費搭乘。他把這些乘客送到了精神病院，並且告訴醫院工作人員，
這些"病人"非常容易激動, 而且胡言亂語充滿幻覺"------這個詭計 直到三天後才被識破。→我覺得這一個較優。

銅牌獎的得主：

ANN ARBOR 新聞報的犯罪專欄報導說，密西根州的一個男子淩晨5點持槍走進快餐店打劫。
櫃臺人員表示說，如果沒有點餐，他無法打開收款機。
於是這個男子點了份炸洋蔥圈，但櫃臺人員說 早餐時間不提供這玩意兒---
-該男子深感挫折，悵然離去。


年度特別大獎：

警察在西雅圖街道上發現一個嚴重不適的人蜷縮在一輛 RAV車旁，
那人後來承認 他企圖用虹吸管偷汽油, 但他錯誤地 將吸管的另一頭放到了
旅行汽車的小型化糞桶裡。
（想像一下 他用力含著吸管大力猛吸時的情景吧）
