宮城縣又發現2000遺體

日本發生芮氏規模9.0的強震已滿三天，福島核電廠災變危機仍未解除，救難人員努力持續搜救的同時，災情最慘的宮城縣海濱兩處各發現千具遺體，死亡人數快速攀升，當地火化設施已無法應付。

截至14日零時，官方確定喪生人數為1597人、失蹤1481人，但宮城縣南三陸町仍有9500人失聯，生死未卜。宮城縣死亡人數最多、達643人，岩手縣有502人，福島縣也有401人。

上述罹難人數尚不包括在宮城縣仙台市發現但尚未運出的二百到三百具遺體。另據共同社報導，宮城縣牡鹿半島和南三陸町又各發現一千具遺體，死亡人數勢將增加。

由於當地火化能力無法應付龐大死亡人數，宮城縣政府已決定請其他地方政府協助火化遺體。

大地震後，福島核電廠受損，日本首相菅直人昨天授權東京周邊分區輪流停電，以避免突然發生大規模停電。東京電力公司 (Tokyo Electric Power Co.)原本預定於今天上午6時20分開始分區限電，但臨時決定延至上午10時實施，以免對民生造成太大影響。另外，東北 (Tohoku)電力公司也考慮輪流停電。

日本全國有190萬戶斷電，但許多人連生活必需品也沒有，估計140萬人沒有自來水供應，許多地區交通受阻，援糧無法迅速送達。

聯合國人道事務協調處(OCHA)13日表示，日本在發生地震和海嘯後，三天以來已撤離多達59萬人。

人道事務協調處在針對日本救援行動的最新資料中指出：「約有38萬人是由受地震和海嘯侵襲的災區撤離，並被安置在2050處撤離中心。」
