中研院發現 病態肥胖與3基因位點有關

（中央社記者陳舜協台北21日電）病態肥胖已經醫學證實與基因有關，中央研究院生物醫學所潘文涵團隊經過約6年研究，進一步發現3個基因位點與漢人病態肥胖有關，論文已發布在8月「美國臨床營養學」期刊上。


中研院生醫所研究員潘文涵與桃園敏盛醫院副院長李威傑、長榮大學保健營養學系助理教授陳信宏合作，在經國際論文發表的32個與人類有關的基因變異位點中，檢視那些基因變異位點與漢人的病態肥胖有關。


潘文涵團隊自敏盛醫院收治的嚴重肥胖病患中，挑選304名身體質量（BMI）指數大於39的病患當實驗組，再自中研院漢人基因庫中挑選304名BMI指數小於24的漢人基因當對照組，檢驗兩組基因位點，結果發現在ESR1、PPARγ基因共有3個變異位點與漢人肥胖有關。


潘文涵說，研究發現，這3個基因變異位點中，若只有1個位點有變異，病態肥胖的風險較未變異者增加30%到40%；若2個位點有變異，則病態肥胖風險增為2倍；若3個位點有變異，病態肥胖風險增為5倍以上。


之後研究團隊自敏盛醫院收治病患中，挑選BMI指數大於35的病患220名，與中研院漢人基因庫中再挑選的338名BMI指數正常的基因比對，得到一致性結論。兩次實驗耗費時間約5、6年。


潘文涵說，實驗證明漢人病態肥胖與3個基因變異位點有關，建議有家族病態肥胖史的家族可進行篩檢，若發現有變異，可協助家族人的年幼、年輕族群培養定時運動、作息規律習慣，持之以衡的話，將可避免病態肥胖；未來研究團隊會針對這3個基因變異位點，再深入研究治療方法。980821
