波濤洶湧的胸圍，常會吸引旁人目光，特別是近來被稱做童顏巨乳的藝人瑤瑤爆紅後，讓許多女性望之興嘆，甚至有部份人趨之若鶩，也希望自己能隆胸隆出可觀上圍。


整型外科醫師沈秉輝表示，胸部大未必是美，臨床上，伴隨巨乳而來的，包括有下垂、外擴以及胸下圍容易濕疹、內衣肩帶處有壓迫性皮膚炎、兩邊乳房不對稱等問題，只要胸型漂亮，其實東方女性胸部大小B~C罩杯就已經合宜，醫界所稱的美胸，是指鎖骨中間到兩側乳頭形成正三角形，距離介於17~21公分，稱之為黃金比例。


臨床上，一位17歲E罩杯女孩，在家與弟弟嬉鬧時，胸部不小心被弟弟踹了一腳，讓她當場疼痛不已，事隔兩週後，胸部有兩處出現約銅板大小的潰瘍傷口，檢查發現，她的胸部局部脂肪組織已經壞死與繼發性感染，接受手術清除潰爛處，並進行縮胸術隱藏疤痕，重新塑胸後，才讓胸部兩邊對稱，解決大小奶問題。


若真要選擇隆胸、讓胸型美麗，醫界也推出內視鏡隆乳手術，利用光學科技，精準確定填充物位置，比起傳統隆乳手術，更增加手術的安全性準確性，手術時間短、傷口小復原快，不過，費用較貴，約需16~20萬元。
