王貞治 周日訪郭宗明家族

旅日職棒名將王貞治3年前罹患胃癌，是由台南市郭綜合醫院家族在日本行醫的郭宗明協助發現，王貞治為了感念「救命恩人」，21日將特別到台南，會見郭宗明家族。

「王貞治要來醫院好棒喔！」王貞治將拜訪郭宗明父親郭國銓的郭綜合醫院，醫院人員知道很興奮，各自準備物品要請王貞治簽名。

台南市郭綜合醫院家族，第一代郭國銓育有6子，5人是醫學博士，目前4人在日本行醫，第三代目前也就讀醫學院。

郭國銓的次子郭宗明與台灣旅日的職棒選手熟悉，早年郭泰源等人剛到日本，幾乎把郭家當成第二個家。郭綜合醫院表示，郭宗明與王貞治也常碰面，3年前郭宗明發現王貞治的身體不對勁，安排王到自己的醫院由擔任消化外科醫師的弟弟郭宗宏診查發現罹患胃癌，再轉往慶應義塾大學附設醫院開刀。

據悉，王貞治的妻子死於胃癌，他曾多次接受胃癌健檢，但之前未發現異狀，王貞治非常感謝郭宗明，視他為救命恩人。
