〔編譯蔡子岳／綜合報導〕年收入近900萬台幣，加上年假3個月，這麼好康的工作想當然一定搶破頭。不過，這個位在紐西蘭北島托寇羅鎮（Tokoroa）的超高薪醫師職缺竟長達2年無人應徵，迫使診所主治醫師肯尼只好上人力網站刊登求人啟事。

托寇羅鎮人口1萬3000餘人，當地診所主治醫師肯尼因診所業務量爆炸，負責的病歷數就高達6000，「超過我的極限，根本看不完」，於是他開出優於市場一倍多的年薪徵聘醫師協助，但2年來透過4間醫學專業人力公司竟收不到一張履歷。

急需助手的肯尼開出優渥條件，40萬紐幣（約890萬台幣）年薪外加3個月年假，而且不需值夜班，但還是找不到合格應徵者。肯尼認為原因是不在大城奧克蘭，職責又重，且在小鎮鄉間擔任全科醫師彷彿是醫師生涯的終點。

肯尼說，「最大的醫學院位在奧克蘭，學生多半來自優渥家庭，要是醫學院多招些鄉村學生，絕對有人來應聘。」根據調查，紐西蘭鄉間醫師缺額率37%，低於市區的42%，但鄉間缺額補人需要2至3年才補上，而且極度仰賴外國醫學生，鄉間醫療缺額難補主因為與世隔絕、子女就學困難，甚至沒有網際網路。

除肯尼外，在托寇羅其他6位醫師，都是通勤，其中一位是肯尼的女兒，她說，「我喜愛托寇羅，但說服其他醫師來此，是痴人說夢。找到同事已很難，要找後繼者簡直是登天。」

行情都是跟當地就業行情比較。 若當地能輕鬆賺$1000萬，為何將就少賺年薪$900萬呢?
一堆 印度醫師，非洲醫師， 菲律賓醫師 搶著去美國，澳洲，紐西藍職業， 能克服語言困難成功通過 usmle (當地醫師執照考), 完成住院醫師訓練考取專科證照的人 也想領取 當地對等的薪資。 若年薪$900萬行情太低還是招募不到醫師的。

去直接給你加拿大身份和醫師執照
要綁約5-6年的樣子
那種地方就是連加拿大本地醫生都不願意去才會找其他"落後"國家醫生過去
就算沒有家累的人,也要看你願不願意去那麼寒冷偏遠的地方工作
更不用說有妻兒老小的人...............
