〔自由時報記者黃欣柏／新北報導〕新北市76歲王姓老婦前天下午過馬路時，遭85歲林姓老翁騎車撞上，王婦當下鼻血不斷流出，但神智清醒，送醫途中還不斷與救護人員對話，看似並無大礙。不料，送醫2小時後卻不治，肇事者林翁也因此吃上過失致死罪嫌，他忍不住驚呼：「怎麼會這樣？」
林翁前天下午騎車行經中和區景安、南山路口，不慎撞上過馬路的王婦；林翁肇事後立刻下車欲攙扶對方，附近民眾大喊：「先別動她！」隨即協助報案。救護人員將王婦送往雙和醫院時，她仍意識清楚，對於救護人員提問的年籍資料等問題也能流暢回答，看似並無大礙。
不料，送醫後2小時，院方傳出王婦不治的噩耗，醫師診斷王婦除腦震盪外，左鎖骨、鼻骨、頸椎及骨盆等處均骨折，研判王婦可能因年事已高才導致傷勢急轉直下。
警方發現，林翁未飲酒，車速也僅30到40公里，發生意外後也覺得很難過，「怎麼會發生這種事情」？
