針對強恕高中兩名對遊民遭到退學，教育部長蔣偉寧今（14）日表示，「社會事件當然還是要透過教育的方式給學生輔導」，對於強恕高中的退學處分，蔣偉寧說，「退學我想並不是一個最理想的作為，還是透過教育讓學生有所改變」。

強恕高中2名「潑糞哥」，因為至少5次用糞水攻擊遊民，引發外界強烈反彈。校方13日晚間緊急召開臨時學生事務會議，決定給予2人退學處分。

蔣偉寧說，「潑糞哥」事件讓教育部必須深刻的檢討，「是不是在我們各級教育裡面，對於同理心的培養，可能是很關鍵的」。

蔣偉寧認為，「己所不欲勿施於人」，他強調，應該透過教育的方式，「怎麼樣能夠讓每個人都能有改過自新的機會，自己的不喜歡的事情也不應該做在別人身上」。

蔣偉寧強調，對於「潑糞哥」的行為，教育部一定要加強輔導，「希望能夠讓他有所改善」。

至於退學的處分會不會太嚴重？蔣偉寧則說，「現在不是嚴不嚴重，我想是要讓學生有機會能夠改進，我想這是更關鍵的！」

我覺得如果留在校 或許順利畢業後 高中學歷還可再升學或者找的到一定的工作 也許他們兩人不一定是真悔改 但可能不會再更壞吧.....可是 如果退學之後 別的學校也不太敢收了 這樣的學歷怎麼找的到工作呢 那是不是就會更憤世嫉俗 然後可能開始更反社會 後果更嚴重.....我想 這點機會 原本的學校都不肯給 真的懲罰的太重了 而且 可能害了這兩個學生的一生....

....〔自由時報記者邱紹雯、劉慶侯、吳岳修／台北報導〕台北市私立強恕高中曾姓、陳姓學生對街友潑糞還錄影上傳網路，校方昨天緊急召開學生事務會議，決議祭出校規最重的退學處分。曾生不滿遭退學，抱怨：「為什麼媒體一直搞我…。」揚言自殺後離家。警方深夜接獲家屬報案，正漏夜啟動緊急查詢和定位系統，追蹤他的下落。

強恕校長蔡秋河表示，學生行為脫序、毀損校譽，發生此事相當遺憾，對社會深感歉意，也認為高三學生年紀已經不小，必須為自己的行為負責，期盼學生能深切反省檢討，彌補過錯。校方今天將正式發出處分書通知學生及家長，若有異議，可在二十天內提出申覆。此外，另名紀姓學生前天也到案說明，經查確認潑糞影片的掌鏡者為另名校外成年人，紀生僅是好奇在場圍觀，且曾出言制止，因此不予處分。

學校做出處分後，二十二歲的曾生向母親抱怨說他已出面道歉，但不僅被學校開除、同學嘲笑，媒體還一直譏嘲他，他覺得備感壓力，向母親怒喊：「我不要活了！」隨即跑出去。

曾母打電話給兒子，對方不接，懇請學校教官介入勸說，教官打給曾生時，曾生仍是氣餒又憤怒地表示不想活了。

家屬於晚間近十一點向北市警萬華分局報案，漢中派出所所長一度撥通曾生行動電話，表明自己身分，並且希望曾生能夠冷靜，但電話另一端靜默了一會兒，隨後切斷電話。

警方擔心曾生若不只是鬧意氣，而是真的一時情緒激動想不開，會有不測，因此再往上向台北市警察局緊急通報，要求電信單位協助搜索定位曾生位置，相關作業正進行中。
