挪威攝影師Terje Sorgjerd用「縮時攝影」記錄西班牙最高峰泰德峰(El Teide)，影片被暱稱為「銀河的一周」轟動網路。台灣攝影師陳志通(Louis)以相同手法，詮釋合歡山上的雲海、星空與雪景之美，堪稱台灣版「銀河的一周」。

攝影師陳志通29日接受NOWnews.com《今日新聞網》電訪，表示自己過去非常迷戀雲海翻騰的壯闊美感，因此衍生出用「縮時攝影」記錄合歡山壯麗美景的想法。陳志通表示，這段3分18秒的影片涵蓋了合歡山三年多以來的景色，其中90%的影像都是由單眼相機拍攝而成。

由於製作過程頗為耗時費工，陳志通的用心則是讓網友讚不絕口，有網友建議觀光局應該買來當形象廣告。網友chicago0804說，「我們要很驕傲的跟外國人說台灣其實是很美的！」另一位網友anmelovewu則感動地說，「有一種驕傲感油然而生，我哭著看完。」
