病房超豪華 醫療太世俗

在我教學行醫四十多年歲月，眼見醫療專業逐漸式微，不勝憂心。近日報載有病家要求比照超市或大飯店，憑醫院費用帳單免費停車。提供盡心的服務無可厚非，但把醫療的專業服務視同一般的生活服務，才是我為文重點。

醫療服務有深奧學理，也有珍貴經驗，醫師在良知及良心驅使下，竭盡心力維護病人生命，因此獲得病家信賴。只有醫療專業的行使，及病家信心的互動，才能提供最佳照護。

可是今日在顧客滿意度誤導下，各級醫院或以超級豪華裝飾的診間病房廣為招徠，或四處設置接駁車及送便當點心收納病人，或購置昂貴不實的診療儀器誤導大眾，甚至以獨家總攬的手段欺世盜名，或開啟地下商場或大眾食品街服務，與一般商店無異，服務質變成營利行為，或許是醫界式微、醫療糾紛多起的原因。

尤有進之，近日雷厲風行的醫學美容及健康管理，以不貴而高貴的器材，以營利包裝服務，以名嘴或代言人誤導大眾，都令人寒心。在利的呼喚之下，有些醫院的執事者甚至要求員工提供卑躬屈膝的服務，只在贏得顧客滿意，不也太世俗化，有違醫學的「專業尊嚴」。

政府即將在自由經濟區開展「旅遊醫療」，以增進台灣經濟活力，用心良苦，許多醫院也摩拳擦掌，不落人後。台灣醫療有精湛的專業，有高度的人性化醫療，再加上合理的醫療費用，我們歡迎外國病家能夠在台灣贏回健康，同享有尊嚴、有專業更是合理的醫療服務。如只著眼商業利潤，推展膚淺又世俗化的醫療服務，不也蹧蹋萬千服務其間的醫療專業人員的用心。所以，我呼籲醫療專業人員及社會大眾，特別主政者，應認清醫療是超「服務」的專業，有其神聖不可冒犯的一面。
