　　消息称，解放军这次出动的空降军第15军直辖部队是最精锐的部队，中央和军队真的动了老血本了。此外，载有数百名空降兵的一架空军大型运输机今天冒雨安全着陆成都机场。至此，中国空军在30个小时内紧急出动51架次大型运输机空运救灾人员和物资，选派的 6420名空降兵相继奔赴汶川、北川救灾一线。

　　报道称，在今年初抗雨雪冰冻灾害中出手不凡的空降兵部队，13日凌晨接到上级号令后，当即按抗震救灾应急方案作出部署。此次行动，部队从集结地域到抗震救灾地域，仅用了6个多小时，创造了空降兵历史上兵力出动规模最大、准备时间最短的新纪录。
