臺大跨校團隊研究推理和直覺 登科學期刊

「談戀愛靠直覺？股市投資靠理性？」臺灣大學跨校研究團隊以功能性磁振造影技術，研究人類做決定時的推理與直覺腦部反應。這項研究也是台灣首度以經濟議題登上「科學」期刊。

臺大經濟系副教授黃貞穎、陽明神經科學研究所助理教授郭文瑞等組成的跨校研究團隊，以功能性磁振造影技術 (functional magnetic resonance imaging)分析發現，人類推理與直覺過程，運用截然不同的大腦皮質活化區及不同的活化程度，這項研究發現今天登上「科學」 (Science)期刊。

黃貞穎以股票投資為例表示，眾多上市股票中，投資選擇很多，一開始會找尋相關財務報表來選擇股票，選出較好的數十間公司，但錢又不夠多，就會用直覺來做最後決定。

黃貞穎指出，「協調賽局」 (coordination game)是直覺思考過程，通常相對快速，但容易受到情緒影響；而「優勢可解賽局」(dominance-solvable game)為推理過程，有所依循，相對緩慢。

黃貞穎說，透過實驗發現，「優勢可解賽局」中，人類大腦皮質的前額葉及顱葉 (frontoparietal areas) 活化程度較高，而此一大腦神經網域與人類的推理思考有相當關聯；「協調賽局」中，偏向直覺型思考，使得大腦中的腦島 (insula)及前扣帶皮質區(anterior cingulate cortex)相對活躍。

臺大副校長陳泰然表示，研究團隊中有瑞典籍美國教授，是一個跨系、跨校、跨國性的合作，開啟多元創新合作的研究模式典範，解答個別領域無法解釋的問題，也是台灣首度以經濟議題登上國際頂尖期刊，「知道的時候，大家都很高興」。

戀愛、血拼這些傳統認為非理性的行為，其實也經過理性決策！台大經濟系副教授黃貞穎的跨校研究團隊，把經濟學著名的「賽局理論」，結合腦神經科學，發現不同賽局測試時，大腦掌管推理、直覺的區域，活化程度各有高低。這項跨界、跨校、跨領域的研究，登上國際科學期刊「Science科學」雜誌，也是國內首篇登上「Science」的人文社會領域論文。(陳映竹報導)

賽局理論是經濟學中，一種策略思考，透過策略推估，尋求自己的最大勝算。台大經濟系副教授黃貞穎研究團隊(共同作者依序為陽明神經科學研究所郭文瑞教授、美國羅格斯大學經濟系Tomas Sjostrom教授、台大經濟系碩士生陳瑀屏、台大電機系畢業生王彥襄)，以兩種典型的賽局設計實驗「優勢可解賽局」與「協調賽局」，以「功能性磁振造影」技術分析參與者的大腦活動，找出兩種賽局背後隱含的神經心理歷程。

根據「功能性磁振造影」技術，郭文瑞指出，在進行「優勢可解賽局」時，人類大腦掌管推理思考的頂葉、前額葉活化程度高；在「協調賽局」中，偏向直覺型思考使得大腦的腦島相對活躍，合作、信任，甚至「愛情」降臨的時候，也都和這塊區域有關聯。黃貞穎說，這顯示在決策過程中，除了理性的推理，直覺也佔了重要因素。

黃貞穎舉例，像是股票購買，民眾通常會先參考公司財務報表，理性篩選出幾支股票，但真正下決定時，依靠直覺；愛情降臨時，雖然來電是直覺，但選擇情人也會理性考量人品、個性。
