世界數位圖書館 台灣進不了門

世界數位圖書館網路系統二十一日在法國巴黎聯合國教科文組織總部啟動，台灣是會員，卻因中國打壓，我國家圖書館館長顧敏進不了聯合國機構大門，無法參加啟用典禮。我國提供的十幅具古典及台灣特色的數位圖片，到現在都未能在數位圖書館網站刊登出來。


顧敏昨天從巴黎返回台北，在教育部開記者會說，這次若能以官方代表身份進聯合國機構大門，將是一大突破。沒想到，最後還是被拒於聯合國門外。


他說，兩岸既然走向和解，中國應該多給台灣一點國際生存空間。第三次江陳會即將於周末召開，深切盼望台灣的國際空間議題能列入江陳會討論。


台灣身為會員國 無法參加啟用

顧敏表示，聯合國教科文組織嚴格執行「一個中國」政策，世界數位圖書館二十一日到二十四日開會期間，展場不能出現有關台灣的展品，連世界數位圖書館網站（www.wdl.org）上，也未刊登台灣提供的典藏圖片。


但世界數位圖書館相關負責人跟顧敏口頭保證，會議結束後，約在二十五日，世界數位圖書館網站就會刊登台灣提供的五筆中華文化相關古典圖檔及五筆台灣表徵的圖檔。


由聯合國教科文組織號召成立的世界數位圖書館（World Digital Library）有來自十九國、三十二個圖書館參加。


世界數位圖書館二十日在美國駐巴黎大使館舉行伙伴會議，顧敏順利參加，並與其他會員代表平起平坐發言。


會議結束後，顧敏發現桌上名牌標示國籍為「中國」，他提出抗議，主辦單位答覆是「安排過程的小錯誤」。


未用數字圖書館 顧敏會中被酸

會後，中國北京國家圖書館國際處長嚴向東酸溜溜的跟顧敏說，中國之前提出digital中文應翻譯成「數字」，這個組織應稱為「世界數字圖書館」。但大會最後接受台灣主張的「數位」，中國十幾億人竟然不如台灣二千多萬人。顧敏回答：「這不是人數多寡問題，是文化問題。」


二十一日，世界數位圖書館網路系統啟動典禮，在聯合國教科文組織巴黎總部舉行，顧敏竟然連這棟建築的門都進不去，無法參加啟用典禮。


主辦單位告訴顧敏，台灣自從退出聯合國以來，沒有一個官員可以走進這座聯合國機構大門，到現在沒有改變。世界數位圖書館「承受極大壓力」，所以沒法讓顧敏參加啟用典禮。
