台南高分院前法官徐宏志愛打麻將，
被控審理台南縣議會前副議長周五六賄選案時，
與周 某夫妻打麻將，將周五六判決無罪並收賄近千萬元。
最高法院審理認定徐宏志愛打麻將屬 違反法官倫理的問題，
沒有積極證據證明收賄，判決無罪定讞。 雖然徐宏志獲判無罪，
但司法院公懲會五年前以「沉湎麻將、與當事人打牌」為由，將徐 宏志撤職，
並停止公務員任用一年，徐宏志喪失法官資格，
不能領取千萬退休金。 徐宏志被控收賄案繫屬法院超過六年，
且經最高法院三次發回更審都判無罪，依據刑事妥 速審判法規定，
檢方不得再上訴最高法院；但檢方先前以更審法院適用法條有誤提起上訴 ，
昨天遭最高法院駁回。 判決指出，民國八十三年二月間，
周五六欲競選台南縣副議長，被控招待議員出國旅遊賄 選，
一、二審法院均判周有罪，九十年間台南高分院更三審由徐宏志擔任陪席法官，
周五 六妻子周陳秀霞打聽得知徐宏志愛打麻將，每年打麻將一百餘次，
於是透過牌友安排牌局 與徐宏志建立交情。 檢方指出，九十年八月三十日，
台南高分院更三審判周五六賄選案無罪，周陳秀霞疑以洗
錢方式匯款一千多萬元至人頭帳戶，徐宏志再指示周陳秀霞提領現金七百廿五萬元交付，
徐宏志再存入媳婦名下帳戶，徐涉嫌收賄及洗錢。徐宏志因此一度被收押停職
